Vixy Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

Vixy is intended solely for users who are 18 years of age or older. By using Vixy, you confirm that you are at least 18 and legally capable of entering into these Terms. Anyone under 18 must not access or use the App.

2. The Vixy service

Vixy provides fictional conversations with original AI-generated characters for entertainment, companionship, and interactive roleplay across genres such as romance, drama, fantasy, and mystery. Characters are fictional and do not represent real people.

AI-generated responses may be inaccurate, unexpected, inconsistent, or offensive and may not always reflect our content standards despite our safeguards. Vixy is not a real person, relationship, counseling service, or substitute for professional medical, mental-health, legal, financial, or other advice. Do not rely on Vixy for emergencies or decisions that could affect your health, safety, finances, or legal rights.

3. Accounts

Vixy provides anonymous, guest-style access by default and may allow you to link a Google account. You are responsible for activity under your account and for maintaining control of your device and linked sign-in method. You must provide accurate information when requested and promptly notify us if you suspect unauthorized access.

Anonymous accounts may be difficult or impossible to recover after you uninstall the App, clear local app data, lose your device, or lose the account identifier. Linking an available sign-in method may enable supported data restoration across devices.

4. User content and AI output

"User Content" includes messages, prompts, reports, and other material you submit. You retain any rights you hold in your User Content. You grant Renvoy a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, transmit, modify, and process User Content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, moderate, improve, and support Vixy and to comply with law. This license ends when the content is deleted, except to the extent limited retention is permitted by our Privacy Policy or applicable law.

You are responsible for your User Content and must have the rights needed to submit it. AI output is generated from patterns in data and may be similar or identical to output provided to other users. We do not guarantee that output is accurate, unique, non-infringing, or eligible for intellectual-property protection. You may use output for lawful personal purposes, subject to these Terms and applicable law.

5. Content standards and acceptable use

You must not use Vixy to create, request, upload, transmit, or promote:

• Sexual content involving minors, child sexual abuse or exploitation, grooming, or any content that sexualizes or endangers a minor.
• Non-consensual sexual content, incest, bestiality, or other illegal sexual content.
• Credible threats, targeted harassment, instructions for violent wrongdoing, or content intended to harm a real person.
• Impersonation of a real person, deceptive representations that AI content is authentic human communication, or unauthorized depictions of public figures.
• Content that infringes privacy, publicity, copyright, trademark, or other rights.
• Malware, spam, fraud, scams, or material intended to disrupt or compromise the App.
• Use Vixy if you are under 18 or help a minor or suspended user gain access.
• Circumvent safety controls, age restrictions, usage limits, subscriptions, or paywalls.
• Scrape, harvest, reverse-engineer, decompile, probe, overload, or interfere with Vixy except to the extent a restriction is prohibited by applicable law.
• Use automated means to access the App without our written permission or misuse reporting, support, purchase, or refund processes.

Use the in-app report feature if you encounter content that may violate these standards.

6. Subscriptions, purchases, and credits

Vixy may offer free usage limits, auto-renewing subscriptions, trials, and one-time credit packs. The purchase screen will show the current price, billing period, included features or allowances, and any trial terms before you confirm a purchase. Prices and availability may vary by country, platform, and applicable taxes.

Purchases are processed by the applicable app store and may be managed through RevenueCat. By purchasing, you also agree to the store's terms. A subscription automatically renews for the stated billing period unless you cancel it through the app store account used for the purchase before renewal. Uninstalling Vixy or deleting your Vixy account does not cancel a subscription. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current paid period unless the store or applicable law provides otherwise.

Refunds are handled under the applicable app store's policies and mandatory consumer law. One-time credits have no cash value, are non-transferable, and may not be redeemed for cash except where required by law. We may correct credit balances affected by error, fraud, refunds, or chargebacks.

7. Ownership

Vixy, including its software, interface, branding, original characters, visual assets, and other service content, is owned by Renvoy or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property law. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for its intended purpose. No other rights are granted.

8. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy at https://renvoyapps.com/apps/vixy/privacy explains how we handle information when you use Vixy. By using the App, you acknowledge the processing described in that policy.

9. Suspension, termination, and account deletion

You may stop using Vixy at any time and may request account deletion through the App or at https://renvoyapps.com/apps/vixy/delete-account. Account deletion does not cancel an app-store subscription; you must cancel it separately through the store.

We may limit, suspend, or terminate access when reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, protect users or the App, prevent fraud or abuse, comply with law, or address security or technical risks. Where appropriate, we may remove content or preserve relevant records. Sections that by their nature should survive termination—including ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute terms—will survive.

10. Service changes and availability

We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features, usage limits, characters, or content. We do not guarantee that Vixy or any feature will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. If a change materially affects a paid subscription, any remedies will be provided as required by applicable app-store rules and law.

11. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vixy is provided "as is" and "as available." Renvoy disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranties arising from course of dealing or usage of trade. We do not warrant AI output, user content, third-party services, or uninterrupted access. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Renvoy and its affiliates, licensors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunity, arising from or related to Vixy or these Terms. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for fraud, willful misconduct, or death or personal injury where applicable law prohibits that limitation.

13. Third-party services

Vixy may depend on or link to third-party services, including sign-in, AI, backend, subscription, payment, and app-store services. We do not control those services, and their separate terms and policies may apply.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as Vixy or applicable requirements change. We will post the revised Terms and update the effective date. If a change is material, we may provide additional notice. Your continued use after the revised Terms take effect constitutes acceptance where permitted by law. If you do not agree to revised Terms, stop using Vixy.

15. General terms

Applicable mandatory consumer protections remain unaffected. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Terms and the Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and Renvoy concerning Vixy, except for any additional purchase terms shown by the app store.
